Man Tries To Smuggle 700 Snakes On Plane
CAIRO, Egypt -- A flight from Egypt to Saudi Arabia nearly turned into a real-life version of "Snakes on a Plane."
Airport authorities in Cairo detained an Egyptian man Thursday because he was allegedly trying to smuggle 700 live snakes onto a plane. Authorities were told about the live snakes by the man after he was asked to open his carry-on bag.
409 People Click AdWord Ad That Offers To Infect Their PC With A Virus For Free.
HELSINKI: Computer specialist Didier Stevens put up a simple text advertisement on the Internet offering downloads of a computer virus for people who did not have any.
Surprisingly, he found as many as 409 people clicking on the ad saying "Is your PC virus-free? Get it infected here!" during a 6-month advertising campaign on Google's Adword, said the IT security expert.

Fla. Lottery Says Man's $500,000 Scratch-Off Ticket Appears To Be Misprint Rather Than Winner
The Florida Lottery is refusing to pay a $500,000 prize until it can inspect the $20 scratch-off ticket, which officials said Thursday appears to be a misprint.
Joe Curcio, 56, says he got the ticket at a service plaza Sunday on Florida's Turnpike.
The Gold Rush ticket has the numeral 1 on the top row and a numeral 1 above the $500,000 scratch-off piece, making the ticket appear to be a winner. But when Curcio had it scanned, the ticket's bar code indicated it wasn't.
European Soccer Star Names Have Been Used To Promote Vibrators
A German sex toy firm is to pay German football stars Michael Ballack and Oliver Kahn 50,000 euros each after it used their names to sell vibrators.
The stars sued the firm Beate Uhse because it sold special World Cup vibrators called "Michael B" and "Olli K" last year without their permission.
The damages - £34,000 ($67,000) for each player - were awarded in Hamburg.
Ballack is a Chelsea midfielder, while Kahn is the Bayern Munich goalkeeper.

Man Gets 5,000 Calls After Posting YouTube Video
Ryan Fitzgerald is unemployed, lives with his father and has a little bit of time on his hands.
So, he decided to offer his ear, to anyone who wants to call. After posting a video with his cell phone number on YouTube on Friday, the 20-year-old told The Boston Globe he has received more than 5,000 calls and text messages.
Fitzgerald said he wanted to "be there," for anyone who needed to talk. "I never met you, but I do care," a spiky-haired Fitzgerald said into the camera on his YouTube posting.
He planned to take and return as many calls he could, but on Monday at 5 a.m., his T-Mobile cell phone payment will begin charging him for his generosity when he is no longer eligible for free weekend minutes.
Clerk's Mistake Makes Man $200,000 Richer
CONOVER, North Carolina (AP) -- A store clerk's slip-up at the cash register has paid off big time.
Wadburn Allen on Tuesday accidentally rang up two duplicate Powerball tickets for a customer in this western North Carolina town. At the end of the day, after she was unable to sell the second ticket, Allen paid for it herself.
The next day, Allen returned to the store and found the ticket matched all five numbers -- earning her a $200,000 jackpot.
When Allen went to Raleigh to claim her prize, she met the customer who purchased the original ticket. The customer also will receive a $200,000 jackpot.
