Scientists Prove That Women Are Hardwired To Prefer Pink

Submitted by Dmitri Davydov on Tue, 2007-08-21 09:35.

The long-held notion that girls prefer pink while boys prefer blue may hold some truth, suggests a new study. And moreover, there might be a biological basis for why women prefer pink – or at least more reddish colours than men, say researchers.

The authors of the new study say their findings support the theory that colour vision evolved in humans in part to help females spot ripe fruit such as red berries.

Thanks to one little misplaced word, it appears that people of any age can legally be married in Arkansas, with parental consent.

A man has been arrested in Malaysia for working as a dentist for 29 years with no medical training or qualifications.

He treated patients at his home in Kuala Lumpur, using a cast-off army dentist's chair dating from the 1940s, the New Straits Times newspaper said.

Police and health officials raided the man's apartment, acting on a tip, and found painkillers and syringes.

He said he had assisted an army dentist in the 1960s and 1970s by carrying his bag and had learned how to pull teeth.

Watching TV Could Cost You $1 Million

When people ask me what was the best decision I made when I decided to create this website, they are often surprised when I tell them that it was my decision to quit watching TV.

There is no doubt that TV costs people far more financially than they believe. For most people, TV is a habit that costs in excess of $1 million over a lifetime, or the equivalent of a healthy retirement account.

I made a conscious choice about five years ago to drastically reduce the amount of TV I watch. The average person now watches 4.5 hours of TV a day.
