Do Republicans Eat Sushi Or How Political Beliefs Affect Eating Patterns
I love a juicy steak, but I get withdrawal pangs if I can't have sushi at least once every couple of weeks.
The other day we were sitting around Urbanspoon World Headquarters discussing the relative merits of these two wonderful cuisines, and we began to wonder if what we eat relates to the way we vote.
Naturally, as scientists, we had to dig deeper. After careful and extensive investigation it appears there is in fact a strong correlation between politics and food.*
Free Condoms
One of my favorite pranks is sending free condoms to my buddies. Where to get them? Here, of course.
I love their copywriters as well. I think the text is funny as hell
Dog, Cat Honored for Saving Masters
NEW YORK (AP) — When Debbie Parkhurst choked on a piece of apple at her Maryland home, her dog jumped in, landing hard on her chest and forcing the morsel to pop out of her throat. When the Keesling family of Indiana was about to be overcome by carbon monoxide, their cat clawed at wife Cathy's hair until she woke up and called for help.
For their nick-of-time acts, Toby, a 2 1/2-year-old golden retriever, and Winnie, a gray-eyed American shorthair, were named Dog and Cat of the Year by the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals.
8-Year Old Invents Wedgie-Proof Underware
COLUMBUS, Ohio — Wedgie-proof underwear earned 8-year-old twin boys a spot Friday on The Ellen DeGeneres Show.
Using rigged boxers and fabric fasteners to hold together some seams, Jared and Justin Serovich came up with the "Rip Away 1000."
"When the person tries to grab you — like the bully or the person tries to give you a wedgie — they just rip away," Justin explained Thursday by phone from Los Angeles, where the TV segment was taped Wednesday.

BEIJING - The upcoming Beijing Olympics is more than just a point of pride for China — it's such an important part of the national consciousness that nearly 3,500 children have been named for the event, a newspaper reported Sunday.
Most of the 3,491 people with the name "Aoyun," meaning Olympics, were born around the year 2000, as Beijing was bidding to host the 2008 Summer Games, the Beijing Daily reported, citing information from China's national identity card database.
Hollywood Strangest Gangsters
1. Jabba the Hutt in 'Return of the Jedi'
Gangsters don't need to wear sharkskin suits to fit the part. In fact, they don't even have to wear clothes at all. Check out the wrinkled, green underbelly of Tatooine's most notorious crime lord. He manages to convey menace, greed and decadence and do it all in nothing but his birthday suit.
2. Wilma McClatchie in 'Big Bad Mama'
