500 Parking Meters Stolen
ATLANTA - It's bad enough that thieves have walked away with more than 500 parking meters in downtown Atlanta this year.
What's worse is that police are not even investigating.
Sandra Jennings, deputy commissioner of the city's transportation office, says Atlanta has had to replace about 39 per cent of its parking meter inventory this year because of the thefts.
Although the meters don't contain much money, it costs about $500 to replace each one.

Colorado and Texas residents may like their drink a little too much.
That's at least according to a study conducted by Men's Health magazine to determine the nation's most dangerously drunk cities.
Topping the list as the nation's "Drunkest City," according to the study, was Denver. Fellow Colorado communities Colorado Springs and Aurora rated third and 19th respectively. Denver was rated the most dangerously drunk city in 2006 as well.
